Join T&G Guernsey as a Structural Engineer and be part of a dynamic team that never settles for second best. We are seeking an individual who is either newly Chartered or close to achieving Chartered status, demonstrating proficiency in design with EuroCodes and British Standards. Specialization in Building Structures is essential, complemented by a working knowledge of Marine Structures, Deterioration of Reinforced Concrete, and SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems).
As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for utilizing advanced design skills to create precision engineering models. Your role will involve supporting or leading significant client work and projects, showcasing a consistent, high-standard approach in all tasks. Competence in written and spoken English is crucial, as is expertise in design using MasterSeries and TEDDS.

The roles and responsibilities for the person joining us will include:
- Work as a member of a team on projects up to and in excess of £5m.
- Work directly with clients and design teams (Architects, Surveyors, Contractors etc.) to identify and manage client’s requirements.
- Attend design team meetings and workshops to develop technical solutions.
- Check and approve drawings and specifications in preparation for SER certification.
- Mentoring and training more junior staff.
- Supporting Business Development.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Working on residential, industrial and commercial projects (up to £5m) from inception to completion in a design office environment.
- AutoCAD / REVIT / BIM.
- Communicating with, and the management of, clients, contractors and consultants.

- Locally Qualified.*
- Suitable academic qualifications to enable progress to Chartered Technician status.
